CIVIL AVIATION DEVELOPMENT (CAD) CHARGES

1 — Civil Aviation Development (CAD) Charges

In accordance with the Somali Civil Aviation Act 2020 under Article 5(1)(j) and Article 27(1)(b)(g), and in line with Somalia’s existing realities of national civil aviation recovery and restoration process, Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) introduced the following charges on domestic and international departing passengers purely for the purpose of Civil Aviation Development with effect from 1st June 2023.

1.1 USD 15.00 per departing passenger 2 years of age and above on all international flights.

1.2 USD 5.00 per departing passenger 2 years of age and above on all domestic flights.
