HCMM AD 2.20  Local traffic regulations

1  Airport regulations
  1. During the hours of service of Aerodrome Control, the movement of aircraft, vehicles and persons on the maneuvering area of the aerodrome is subject to Aerodrome Control clearance.
  2. Notwithstanding any aerodrome control clearance given, it shall be the duty of the pilot in command of an aircraft to take all possible measures to ensure that his aircraft does not collide with any other aircraft, vehicle or person.
  3. All communication with aircraft shall be on the Aerodrome frequency 118.1 MHz.
2  Taxiing to and from stands

HCMM AD 2.23  Additional information

  Safety alertness
Operators should exercise extreme caution and fully assess the potential for risks to flight safety and security when planning or conducting operations into Mogadishu airport due to possible occurrence of armed conflict and the lack of adequate aeronautical data and Aeronautical information.
1  Parking Condition
  1. All Handling services are done by favori
  2. Cargo flights can be accepted after 0900z due to parking limitation
  3. Unscheduled flights to notify the ground handling services at list 3 hours before landing flights that lands without notification will wait until the main apron is cleared.
  4. Aircraft to park Nos-out due to lack of wide body aircraft tow bars in the station.
  5. Wide body aircraft should not use full power engine on the apron, Crew are advised to start up and taxi with less power to avoid jet blast damage to the terminal windows due to its proximity to the apron Night flights after 1500z are advised to notify the ground handling service before 1200z
  6. Night flights after 1500z are advised to notify the ground handling service before 1200z
